This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Slate Overview

CHA (-6.5) at DET, O/U:

CLE (-6) at IND, O/U:

OKC at PHI (-13), O/U:

SAS at ATL (-8), O/U:

DEN at BOS (-4.5), O/U:

MIN at CHI (-4), O/U:

ORL at UTA (-12), O/U:

Spurs-Hawks should be a high-scoring and competitive matchup which is more reliable to build around than others with both sides boasting steady rotations.

Dejounte Murray and Trae Young are the only two standouts from the group, but a variety of middle and value picks can fill in an effective lineup.

On the Hawks' side, John Collins comes with a modest midrange salary while Clint Capela, Bogdan Bogdanovic, De'Andre Hunter and Kevin Huerter represent values.

Keldon Johnson makes for a solid salary-saving pick from the Spurs while Devin Vassell, Lonnie Walker and Doug McDermott provide value opportunities.

Injuries to Monitor

CHA - Montrezl Harrell (not injury related): Questionable
Jalen McDaniels (ankle), Cody Martin (achilles), Gordon Hayward (ankle): OUT

P.J. Washington and Kelly Oubre will continue to see more minutes.

DET - Cade Cunningham (hip), Marvin Bagley (ankle): Questionable

Killian Hayes and Frank Jackson will pick up a boost if Cunningham remains out. If Bagley makes his debut, he'll take minutes away from Kelly Olynyk and Rodney McGruder.

CLE - Lauri Markkanen: OUT

Dean Wade is expected to start while Kevin Love is up for additional minutes off the bench.

IND - Malcolm Brogdon (achilles), Isaiah Jackson (ankle): Questionable
Myles Turner (foot): OUT

Chris Duarte offers an opportunity to step up if Brogdon is out. Oshae Brissett and Goga Bitadze should handle key frontcourt roles.

OKC - Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle), Jeremiah Robinson-Earl (foot), Aaron Wiggins (ankle), Mike Muscala (ankle), Isaiah Roby (ankle): OUT

Tre Mann, Darius Bazley and Derrick Favors will continue to start. Kenrich Williams is in line for more action off the bench.

PHI - James Harden (hamstring), Tyrese Maxey (hamstring), Paul Millsap (person), Shake Milton (back): Questionable

Isaiah Joe and Danny Green will have to step up if Harden, Milton and/or Maxey are both unable to play.

SAS - Josh Richardson (not injury related), Romeo Langford (not injury related): Questionable
Goran Dragic (personal), Tomas Satoransky (not injury related): OUT

Devin Vassell is expected to start while Lonnie Walker will log big bench minutes.

BOS - Daniel Theis (not injury related), Derrick White (not injury related): Questionable

Grant Williams and Payton Pritchard are in line to step up.

MIN - Patrick Beverley (ankle), Anthony Edwards (knee), Josh Okogie (quadriceps), Taurean Prince (ankle), Naz Reid (knee), D'Angelo Russell (leg): Questionable

Malik Beasley and Jaden McDaniels could be up for additional playing time.

CHI - Ayo Dosunmu (concussion): Questionable
Derrick Jones (finger), Lonzo Ball (knee), Alex Caruso (wrist): OUT

Coby White will get a boost if Dosunmu is out while Troy Brown should continue to receive big minutes.

ORL - Jalen Suggs (achilles): Questionable
Moritz Wagner (ribs): OUT

Gary Harris will move up if Suggs is out. Chuma Okeke is in line for extra action without Wagner.

UTA - Rudy Gay (knee), Rudy Gobert (calf): Questionable

Hassan Whiteside will get another opportunity to start should Gobert sit. Eric Paschal is up for a boost if Gay is sidelined.

Elite Players

Guards

LaMelo Ball ($9,000)

Ball is averaging 22.9 points, 6.2 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.5 steals over the last 10 games and has gone over 60 DK points three times during that span. He faces an advantage against the Pistons, who are allowing opponents to shoot an NBA-fourth worst average of 47.3 percent from the field.

Jaylen Brown ($8,700)

Brown should do well against the Nuggets' backcourt having posted 23.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists over the last 10 games while exceeding 40 DK six times.

Forwards/Centers

Miles Bridges ($8,100)

Bridges could excel against the Pistons considering they allow an average of 112.2 points per game, which is fifth most in the league. He's averaging 18.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 blocks from the last 10 games, including one effort of 51 DK points.

DeMar DeRozan ($9,700)

DeRozan is on a tear with 33.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.2 steals per night across 10 games, including five over 51 DK. Of note, the Timberwolves have given up a league-high 25.2 free-throw attempts per game.

Jarrett Allen ($7,900)

Allen could dominate the Pacers as they're shorthanded in the frontcourt. He's playing well of late averaging 17.2 points, 13.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.2 blocks over the last five games.

Expected Chalk

Joel Embiid ($11,900)

Embiid is the league's top scorer with 29.4 points while shooting 49.8 percent from the field. He topped 51 DK in each of the last 10 games, including seven over 60. Embiid has an advantage against the Thunder, who are depleted up front and give up a league-high 48.5 rebounds per game.

Value Picks

Tre Mann ($4,900)

Mann has started the last seven and is averaging 12.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals over that stretch. He's up for extended playing time with OKC missing a few players.

Gary Harris ($4,000)

Harris went over 20 DK four times across the last 10 games, including one where he totaled 40.3. He averages 29.5 minutes, but could see a boost if Jalen Suggs (questionable) is out.

Devin Vassell ($4,000)

Vassell is averaging 11.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists over the last 10 games and has gone over 30 DK points three times.

Oshae Brissett ($3,700)

Brissett will start for the Pacers and he'll need to step up to compete against the Cavs' strong frontcourt. He's also averaging 6.3 points and 5.9 rebounds over 21 minutes from the last 10 games.

Clint Capela ($5,300)

Capela comes at a value as he's still finding his groove after a lengthy absence with 7.6 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists over 23 minutes a night from the last 10 games.
