Pitcher
Jhoulys Chacin, SD vs MIL ($7,100) – Chacin won't have to worry about Ryan Braun (10-day DL) tonight and gets the luxury of pitching in Petco Park. In the pitcher-friendly confines of Petco, Chacin has scored 26.6, 29.6, and 11.8 fantasy points and the matchup against the Brewers isn't terrible. Milwaukee has been a mediocre hitting club against right-handed pitchers on the road with a .314 wOBA and 21.3% strikeout rate.
Catcher
Salvador Perez, KC vs NYY ($3,400) – Perez already has seven home runs this season, which is something of a surprise after appearing to get hurt during the WBC during the spring. Tonight's matchup against Michael Pineda doesn't appear good at first glance, but he's gone 8-for-20 against him with a 1.029 OPS.
First Base
Chris Carter, NYY at KC ($3,600) – Carter is a notoriously streaky hitter who has always been better against left-handed pitching. Last season Carter had a .368 wOBA against lefties, along with a .313 ISO, which makes Jason Vargas less intimidating than his numbers this year might suggest.
Second Base
Ian Happ, CHC vs CIN ($2,700) – This price is way too cheap for a guy crushing the ball and hitting cleanup for the favored team in a game with an over/under total of 11. Kyle Schwarber, who hit a 462-foot home run last night, is in play as well.
Shortstop
Zack Cozart, CIN at CHC ($3,600) – The Reds make for an interesting contrarian play, as most will flock to the Cubs in this matchup. Cozart is a sneaky power source at the position, and after hitting 16 home runs last season, he upped this season's total to three last night. He's also reached base safely multiple times in eight straight games.
Third Base
Odubel Herrera, PHI at TEX ($3,700) – Herrera moves from his home hitter's park to Arlington, another favorable play to hit. He had a .359 wOBA against right-handed pitching last season, and Andrew Cashner (in a small sample of 16.0 innings) has given up a .370 wOBA to lefties at home this season.
Outfield
Matt Joyce, OAK at SEA ($3,300) – After a slow start, Joyce has started to rake with home runs in two of his last three and a respectable .854 OPS in May. He should be in the leadoff spot tonight against the right-handed pitching Christian Bergman. Bergman is a good matchup who shouldn't pitch deep into this one, giving Joyce exposure to the Mariners' secondary pitching.
Nomar Mazara, TEX vs PHI ($4,000) – Mazara appears to be heating up, hitting safely in six straight games and enters tonight with three multi-hit games in a row. He has a career .348 wOBA against right-handed pitching and gets Zach Eflin at home Wednesday. Eflin has a career .370 wOBA on the road against left-handed hitters, putting Mazara and teammate Rougned Odor in play.
J.D. Martinez, DET vs BAL ($4,300) – Martinez is on fire right now with four home runs in his last three games. He has a home wOBA of .368 for his career and gets Ublado Jimenez at home.
