NFL Position Roles - Dallas Cowboys

11/19/24- Rico Dowdle leads the RBs while averaging 10 carries and 3.5 targets times while playing 44% of the snaps. Also involved is Ezekiel Elliott, who is averaging 6 rushes and 0.5 targets on a 35% snap share since Week 6. Dalvin Cook made his Dallas debut in Week 8, averaging 18% of the snaps, resulting in 4 carries and 0.5 targets per game. Cook didn't play in Weeks 10-11. In the red zone, Dowdle has 50% of the work, and Elliott has 50% of the carries.

11/19/24- CeeDee Lamb is the No. 1 WR and is being targeted an average of 10 times while playing 82% of the snaps. The No. 2 WR is Brandin Cooks, who is seeing 4 targets per game while seeing an 80% snap share. Cooks went on injured reserve ahead of the Week 5 game. As the No. 2 WR with Cooks out (beginning in Week 5), Jalen Tolbert is being targeted 6 times per game and is on the field 90% of the time. Also since Week 5, Jalen Brooks is averaging 2.5 targets and a 64% snap share. Brooks didn't play in Week 11. The No. 5 option is KaVonte Turpin, who plays 22% of the snaps while averaging 3 targets. In Week 11, Ryan Flournoy, 3 targets, 65% and Jonathan Mingo 4 targets, 29% snaps were integrated into the offense.

11/19/24- Jake Ferguson is the lead TE and is averaging 7 targets while playing 71% of the snaps. Ferguson left the Week 11 game with a concussion. The No. 2 TE is Luke Schoonmaker, who averages 1 target while seeing a 20% snap share. Schoonmaker and Brevyn Spann-Ford saw increased work when Ferguson was out.
