RB Overview
Role Security: High
03/21/24- Kenneth Walker is in line to see the majority of backfield work. Walker should see most of the early-down rushing attempts. He is also the favorite to see the majority of goal-line work. Zach Charbonnet is the No. 2 RB. Charbonnet is expected to get change-of-pace carries in addition to some of the receiving work. Kenny McIntosh will try to earn a depth role in training camp.
WR Overview
03/21/24- DK Metcalf is the alpha receiver and should lead the team in snaps and targets. Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba will both play heavy snaps. It's likely that Lockett and Smith-Njigba fail to get strong weekly target totals, as they often share the targets that don't go to Metcalf. Jake Bobo is the No. 4 WR and will see occasional snaps and targets.
TE Overview
03/21/24- After being in a three-player committee the past couple years, Noah Fant may see a significant increase in snaps and targets with Will Dissly and Colby Parkinson no longer with the team. Pharaoh Brown is set to be the No. 2 TE, but his role as a receiver may not be known until training camp.
