Green Bay Packers RB Roles
Team: Green Bay Packers
Last Update:   3/20/2024
RB Overview
Role Security: High
03/20/24 Over the last few years, when the Packers had their top-two RBs healthy, they always split the work. Based on that, it seems logical that although Josh Jacobs is the lead RB, AJ Dillon will cut into that workload. It's possible that Jacobs handles 60%-65% of the backfield rushes and targets while Dillon handles the remainder. In addition, the goal-line work may result in both players getting opportunities.
WR Overview
03/20/24 There may not be a clear No. 1 option among the top-three WRs. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed should lead the WRs in snaps. However, situation and game script may determine each week if one receiver sees a higher portion of the work. Also, Dontayvion Wicks will rotate in regularly. Although Wicks is the No. 4 WR, he could see a few targets (or more) in most games. Bo Melton played well down the stretch, but unless there are injuries on the depth chart, Melton may struggle to see regular targets.
TE Overview
03/20/24 Both Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft should play significant snaps. Both are good receivers. The expectation is that both will see targets, though it's more likely that Musgrave sees more targets than Kraft in most games.
