Kansas City Chiefs RB Roles
Team: Kansas City Chiefs
Last Update:   4/4/2024
RB Overview
Role Security: Very High
04/04/24 Isiah Pacheco is the lead back, and he could see work on third downs and in the red zone. Clyde Edwards-Helaire should see work as the primary change-of-pace RB. Beyond that, the Chiefs lack a quality backup RB. La'Mical Perine and Keaontay Ingram will compete for rotational snaps.
WR Overview
03/20/24 Rashee Rice turned into the team's top receiver down the stretch as a rookie. There is a good chance he continues that role. Rice has the ability to line up outside and in the slot. No. 2 WR Marquise Brown has been a lead receiver at times in Baltimore and Arizona. It's likely that Brown is a full-time player. In addition, it's possible that he ends up leading the team in receptions. Justin Watson could play a significant number of snaps. However, Watson is often used as a blocker, so his target totals are often low. Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore will compete for depth roles.
TE Overview
03/20/24 Travis Kelce will likely continue to be the Chiefs' top receiver. No. 2 TE Noah Gray will often see a couple targets per game.
