RB Overview
Role Security: Very High
03/20/24 The Texans traded for Joe Mixon. With very little competition on the roster, look for Mixon to see all the work he can handle. Mixon should be heavily used as a runner and receiver. In addition, he should dominate goal-line carries. Dameon Pierce could see a few touches per game when Mixon needs rest.
WR Overview
03/20/24 Nico Collins emerged into an alpha receiver last year. In most games, Collins should lead the team in targets. Collins is also very good in the red zone. The No. 2 is Tank Dell. Dell had a number of big games, but his production was often inconsistent. It's likely he plays on most downs. Also, Dell should see a solid floor of targets in most games. Robert Woods, Noah Brown, John Metchie and Xavier Hutchinson will compete for the other WR roles. Brown showed the most upside last year, though he also had games in which he didn't catch any passes.
TE Overview
03/20/24 Dalton Schultz should continue to be the lead receiving TE. His targets will likely be inconsistent, but he may be the No. 3 option in the Texans' passing attack.
