RB Overview
Role Security: Medium
03/21/24- Brian Robinson is the favorite to handle early-down and goal-line work. Robinson should earn about 60% of the running back work. Austin Ekeler was added in free agency. It seems likely that Ekeler will see occasional change-of-pace carries. Ekeler should be the full-time receiving RB. Chris Rodriguez could see occasional snaps as the No. 3 RB, but he may need Robinson and/or Ekeler to miss time to see a reliable role.
WR Overview
03/21/24- Terry McLaurin remains the Commanders' alpha receiver. McLaurin should see most of the snaps and should lead the team in targets. Jahan Dotson was underutilized last year. Dotson should see an increase from his 2023 work, though he'll likely be the clear No. 2 option. Jamison Crowder and Dyami Brown will compete for the No. 3 role in training camp.
TE Overview
03/21/24- Zach Ertz, John Bates and Cole Turner are likely to compete for lead duties during training camp. It seems likely that each of these TEs will see targets, though right now, there does not appear to be a clear frontrunner.
